With travel on discounted AA fares not earning much under the new system, there are suggestions of crediting the AA-generated miles to partner programs (such as Etihad).
I was wondering if removing my AAdvantage number from the itinerary would inadvertently lead to the loss of CC-related benefits, e.g. free checked-in bag or early boarding. Any experiences or opinions on this?
