Asked for a different one and got a regular room instead (all they had left...) but this one, at least, was quiet and overlooking the lake. Good pools, nice executive club in the evening. However, decided to pay for breakfast in the restaurant since the exec club was noisy and busy (it was Dec 31) and a bit over-run with kids who weren't supervised putting their hands on pastries and then putting them back (I have kids, I would never let them get up to this sort of thing...). Breakfast in restaurant wasn't inexpensive, but it was more peaceful and I like my eggs hot anyway - Buffet style. They have plenty of entertainment for children and the pools are nice. This is more of a resort style hotel, and we saw a bunch of large groups there. I'd stay again, but only on a quieter period.
That's funny, we may have met! I was there the entire week of Christmas. I do have one child, but she wasn't the guilty party - we let her look at choose, but we do the getting. Unfortunately, hands in the food isn't necessarily limited to children at this hotel.

I stay here with some frequency, basically every time we visit my inlaws we're here. This club is always noisy and busy - it's marketed as a resort property and tons of families come and stay. The lounge staff do a great job cleaning tables and keeping things moving. That said, I think the only time you're going to get anywhere with that request is if you're paying for club level (versus complimentary access).
