If You Book 2 or More Rooms How Do Qualifying Nights Post

Lets say you book a 1 night stay with 2 or more rooms; how many qualifying nights will you receive for purposes of elite status & promotion earning?

I know Starwood will credit up to 3 rooms booked as separate qualifying nights. So for example, if an SPG member booked a 1 night stay but had 3 rooms booked; the member would receive 3 qualifying nights towards elite status and promotions based on the 3 rooms.

Conversely I think Hyatt only awards 1 qualifying night per calendar day at any one hotel so even if you booked 10 rooms at a single hotel for a 1 night stay; you would only get 1 elite and promotion "qualifying night."

Any idea how IHG Rewards handles this?
