Unlike the old days of 1:1 transfers of US Amex MR to BA, the current ratio of 250:200 means a 50% bonus today is like a 20% bonus a couple of years ago. Of course, any bonus is good, but not as generous as a 40% transfer bonus that I used in 2011 to pave the way for my first CW flight.

As the old saying goes, better than a stick in the eye though.
