Had been considering the O&O Palm or Royal Mirage but between the Palm being priced about 50% more and the benefits of the Club, it's hard to turn down.

Am I crazy? I don't get to Dubai too often so probably won't have a chance to check out either O&O in the near future if I don't do it on this trip.
I'm staying there right now and I don't know if it's because of summer vacation time but this place is overrun with unruly kids. I booked a Club room for just over half what you did (703/nt) and I can tell you I think I got hosed. Tonight the food offerings were cleaned out 20 minutes in, no clean plates to be found, kids running around - screaming and crying, adults in swimming attire, etc. Pretty much the same scene at breakfast and lunch. Think Embassy Suites breakfast on a weekend morning. Maybe things calm down in September but I still wouldn't recommend this place no matter what the price.
