You should compare domestic F to J within Europe. By that measure there is no comparison; every European airline I am aware of has a product that is basically a coach seat with marginally upgraded food. I would take a domestic F seat, even on the worst legacy US airline, in a heartbeat over any of the European options. The only thing of value they offer in the product is lounge access; the hard product is truly a ripoff.

Also both B6 Mint and AA J and F on transcons to/from JFK are great products, easily beating BA CW and VX F.
