Ibis Thailand - why no phone numbers?

What is it with IBIS hotels in Thailand? There are no individual phone numbers for any of their hotels? There is one - +66-2-659-2888 which is the central reservations number in Bangkok. But I don't want to call reservations, I want to call the hotel to speak to a guest. But no one - not Accor Reservations or the above number (if I can get through) can give me the IBIS Phuket Patong's phone number.

I had to call the Novotel Phuket Patong to ask them to find someone who had the number. They first gave me the above same number and then they realised that it was a Bangkok number. Then the operator ran around asking their staff if they had the number. And then finally someone gave the number to me. The entire process took me over an hour.

Why, why, wouldn't each individual IBIS hotel in Thailand's number be listed?

This is ridiculous.
