Some hotels offer a "hotel within a hotel". For example. Aria in Las Vegas is a very nice hotel, but Aria Sky Suites is a VERY nice hotel with extra perks. So, anyplace you need to provide your room # or show your key, staff will know that you are staying in the Sky Suites, allowing you to skip taxi lines, etc.
