I'm a M&M Senator and I'm working hard towards HON Circle.

I recently purchased a business class (Z class) directly on the Swiss website from Zurich-Bangkok. The return segment was a codeshare on Thai Airlines.

I glanced at the M&M page ("Earning miles on SWISS") to see whether there would be any "surprises". https://www.miles-and-more.com/onlin...d=2510711&l=en

At the bottom of the webpage is an asterix* indicating that certain LX flights were exempt from receiving the Executive bonus and HON Circle mileage. My flight (LX 4301) was not listed and therefore I assumed that all was OK and I would get credited as usual (I really wanted those HON miles).^

So I was surprised to see my M&M statement as follows :

No executive bonus and no points towards HON...

I called M&M and I pointed out the fact that my flight LX4301 is not listed among the exceptions and I therefore should receive full credit for the flight. The agent admitted that it seemed strange and she called back after speaking with a supervisor. Apparently, Thai Airlines is not a fully integrated partner with Swiss and I'm therefore not entitled to Executive Bonus or HON mileage credit. Ok, but I politely asked why my flight is not listed as exempt on the "Earning Mileage with Swiss" webpage. She was told that this is standard policy for all codeshare flights with Thai (i.e No Executive Bonus & No HON credit), but she failed to point out where to find this information online...or why it wasn't listed among other flights on that page.

Is she correct ...? I was being extremely careful. If I had known there would be a problem, I would have flown Swiss on the return segment.
