I worked for a Minnesota company years ago that had business throughout the world, but most done in the U.S. I used to spend a couple weeks doing training in Canada several times a year and brought back the form to get GST tax rebate. I filled it out and sent it with my expense report. They didn't have a clue what it was and told me I could keep it. Several hundred dollars. Oh the good old days.
