If you do your homework and have a great idea what you're buying, I don't see a reason not to. I recently sold some VERY gently used luggage...a B&R Rolling Duffle that was just too big for us, and a B&R Business case that I used once and didn't really care for. I sold them locally on Facebook so I didn't have to worry about shipping, and I think the buyers got a great deal on some really quality pieces.

Look around, and if the price and condition look right, I think it would be worth a try to get something you covet but really don't want to purchase new.
