The noise in the hotel is overwhelming. According to several members of staff, the hotel's owners made the conscious decision not to put the construction notice on the web site so people wouldn't book away to other hotels. They said they are hoping that once people go through the trouble to get there, they won't leave despite the construction (and of course with MR's cancel-the-day-before rule, who knows if the hotel would even let you cancel upon walk-in). Pretty shady, if you ask me.
