I got lucky - LAX-RDU was only 30 minutes delayed this morning.

It showed on-time until we passed boarding time. The plane wasn't there. Then they showed a 30-minute delay. I thought "no way are we boarding in 30 minutes."

The plane showed up 5 minutes later. It turns out that you can board an empty plane really quickly. We pushed back on time.

LAX Terminal 5, on the other hand, was a minor nightmare. I can't imagine what it's like in Atlanta.

The Sky Club was pretty full but wasn't selling day passes, so it was no worse than normal.
