I'm led to believe that after seven days my bag has been located. WorldTracer has been updated with the information provided to me by the Indian call centre showing it's scheduled to leave LIN shortly and will then travel with BA overnight to Australia.

Whether it's my bag or not I won't know with 100% certainty until it arrives on my doorstep which will hopefully be with the next 48 or so hours.
