I'm a big fan of all kinds of barbecue!
Haven't had a chance to hit a lot of places lately, mostly some of the deli's in the area. I do like Specialties for their sandwiches, I think they do a good job with the bread, they have good cookies too. Also tried Rex's Deli on 2nd, not a bad pastrami sandwich but nothing great.
Today tried a mexican place called El Puerco Llorón near the Spanish Table store. It was ok, but probably not good enough (and too expensive) for a return visit. Would love to find a great taco place in the area. Good mexican food is probably what I will miss most about Denver (and in Denver I missed the great asian food of the west coast).
Hit Las Magaritas once, probably won't return there either.
I noticed there was a taco place next to the Hole in the Wall Barbecue, anyone try it?
Tonight for dinner, hit Africando in Belltown and had some really good Senegalese food.
I tried Casualitas the other night. I was the only one in the restaurant and they weren't serving their curried goat that night. Will probably try one more time for the goat since that is one of my favorite dishes of any cuisine. If anyone has some pointers to carribean places, especially if they have Goat Roti, you will make me a happy man.
Thanks for all the tips so far!
