Actually, the SC wasn't too bad and definitely beat the chaos raging in T5 by a mile. Food was refilled regularly and I didn't notice any shortages. As far as drinks went, I swear the bar tenders double-dosed everyone in an attempt to keep the peace. Every single customer service station was occupied and while the queue for assistance went well into the club, attendants did their best to keep the peace.
Just as I was finally boarding my flight, the next gate over announced that the long delayed LAX-ATL flight was moved to the next evening, almost 22 hours out. I never did look back to see whether the GAs got mobbed as a result...
