Ba Le Restaurants – Vietnamese Cuisine – Multiple Locations Hawaii

There is a Ba Le in Chicago, quite good but more of a market than a restaurant.

The Ba Le ‘s in Hawaii seem to more restaurant than market. We ate at the one in Kapaa on the island of Kauai. There are more than 20 on Oahu.

I had a $3.95 beef sandwich which was stellar. Marinated grilled strips of beef with pickled veggies such as daikon and carrot all on a French roll. The hot beef mixed with the cool pickled veggies on the crisp roll made for a great sandwich.

Wife had the sautéed lemongrass Steak & Shrimp over vermicelli noodles. A ton of food and all very fresh and tasty. Her meal was $8.95.

They do have bubble tea which is fun. The honeydew melon flavor is killer.

They serve the beef broth soup PHO as well here.

For a cheap, fresh, good meal head to Ba Le Restaurants (multiple locations)
