I can almost guarantee that you will be the only tourist in this local Japanese Restaurant. Famed as the “Home of the Garlic Ahi,” this dive restaurant serves incredibly fresh ahi tuna in addition to other Japanese specialties and sushi. The food is incredibly simple and incredibly cheap. Combination meals featuring sashimi and tempura make for great meals at truly bargain prices. The space is just a few hundred square feet and they don’t have their liquor license, making BYOB a must. The crowd of young trendsetters, all with their brown paper bags makes for a fun and carefree atmosphere. This is a great place for a group or just two diners.

Tip: They don’t take reservations so bring enough booze to get you through the wait and your meal!
