Glad I'm not flying DL today, and sorry for those who are. I won't point fingers because we don't really know what happened yet. Although I did see that Georgia Power said there wasn't an outage on their side, but they were helping DL to resolve it. Sounds like DL may have had some equipment failure causing the outage.

I will say, DL was somewhat fortunate that this happened at 0230ET/0630Z. There's far fewer flights departing at that time of day as opposed to say 1600ET/2000Z. Nevertheless, this will likely take many days to recover from. I imagine crew schedulers and aircraft routers are scrambling to put the schedule back in order. Their completion % will definitely take a ding.
