I had a great dinner at The Waterfront Restaurant in Maui last night. Big menu with minimum of 6 out of the listed 9 local fish varieties available daily. They are served 12 different ways, your choice. Complete with hot onion bread, rice, potatoes, veg etc. Meat and pasta too but this place is well known for its fish. Appys are $8-$12, main courses $22-$32 (all fish was $28.95) and deserts a real nice bargain at $6 (I believe). Mucho wines too. Best deal here is a 750 ml bottle of Meriden Chardonnay for $25. Most of their customers are locals who enjoy great food and bargains (like me).

Now here is the really super nice part. When the check comes, tell the server you wish the nice "2 for 1 special". (Note: it is good for anyone, not just HI residents). They will remove the charge for one entree. SUCH A DEAL!! Last night, a fab dinner for two, ie ocean-side table, 2 stiff Stoys-on-the-rocks, 2 delicious ono fish dinners, and the total bill including tax and tip was $51. SUCH A DEAL!!
