Good morning. Im a GM and will be flying EWR->LAS and back in October and am trying to figure out which airport to route through to maximize my chances of an upgrade. I'm 3 for 4 on JFK-LAS and i'm assuming LAS being a leisure route the odds will be decent. For this trip, flights out of JFK are substantially more than out of EWR and as i live in Union County, NJ the time spent on a layover will be eaten up by the extra time getting to JFK and navigating T4.

Would be flying out early on a Saturday morning and returning early on a Tuesday morning. Prices/timing are similar enough so that its really just a matter of preference.

Would the odds of an upgrade be better or worse flying through DTW/MSP/ATL/SLC?? As I assume the UG will be harder on the EWR-XXX leg i'd probably rule out SLC since the SLC-LAS leg is barely an hour flight. DTW and ATL operate a 757 on the leg to LAS which has more seats in F but at the same time, I assume ATL is the most elite heavy.
