Currently, because I booked through work, all three segments have my AAdvantage number in them. I'm trying to figure out if I should switch any or all of it to my MileagePlan account? I am PLT due to a status challenge and have 33k EQM for the year.

Edit: I looked closer at the receipt for my expense report.
AS routes (outbound) = $863.50, (flying 3784 miles)
AA route (return) = $329.74 (flying 2900 miles), plus I paid a separate upgrade out of my pocket to get to first of $310 which doesn't show up on my work receipt so I dunno how/if it is accounted for.
Does your status expire in 2017 or 2018?
What is the purpose of switch to AS instead of AA?
