This road leads to a little office park / shopping center that includes Wally's American Pub. If you park in the lot, it is about 200 yards walk back west to the front entrance, or you can cut along the lake to the cabanas using the bike path.
2. The Gainey Ranch Golf Club lot is just beyond the pool complex. Turn north on East Gainey Ranch Club drive and proceed to the end of the road, parking in the lot as far away from the clubhouse as you can, because the south side of the parking lot is nicely shaded. Walk back south, cross the street, through the little gate, across the pedestrian bridge and into the pool complex by the water slide.
3. At the corner of Scottsdale Road and Doubletree Ranch Road is the Gainey Village shopping strip, and the only time this lot ever fills up is for the monthly Cars and Coffee, which is usually the morning of the first Sunday of each month. On that day you will have to vie with the owners of Ferraris and Lancias and Iso Grifos and Bentleys and so on - otherwise, this is free and easy. It is about a 500 yard walk to the front entrance of the Hyatt from that lot, using N 73rd Place as a crosswalk. Also, Chez Vous in this location has lovely crepes.
4. Directly south of the hotel, across Doubletree Ranch Road, is the Gainey Village Health Club. Their surface parking is free, and you can cross Doubletree at the light with a crosswalk. This wouldn't be my first choice, since at peak workout times, it can be very full.
Thanks for the compilation. Can you clarify if these places work for overnight parking too or just for couple of hours? Just want to make sure... thxs.
