Anyway, now I'm a little worried about my decision. At least in economy we’d be able to strap him down. Actually I have no idea how he’ll behave. He’s been an angel on all of our previous flights but he’s not walking yet. He probably will be when we go to Bali.

So, Bad decision? Any experiences?
We did this on both Swiss and Singapore Airlines in business class, both were fine. For Swiss we got to use the bassinet which was very useful, but they grow out of the bassinet around 10-12 months.

Singapore Airlines was great as they were night flights and the seat was so wide that I slept with our baby all the way to breakfast. This was on the old A380/B77W seat, I believe the new one is slightly narrower.

Stock up well on food, milk, we used a lot of treats (organic corn chips for babies etc) as well as entertainment and anything else you might need for your child to be happy and occupied. I was a bit nervous beforehand but it really tuned out better than expected.

The best thing about business class is ability to get some sleep and have some more room and comforts.
