Duffy's Tavern - North Kingstown, RI
I think Duffy's has been voted the "best cheap seafood in Rhode Island" by Rhode Island Monthly, and I can see why. This local West Bay/South County hangout serves up pretty good fish at very good prices. I've had the quality vary, but for the most part it has been quite yummy. Their stuffed quahogs are well seasoned and their clam cakes - when served hot from the vat of boiling grease - are delicious! Stay away from them if they are served luke-warm or cold, though. They also have a lobster dinner on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (outdoor seating only) that includes a one-pound lobster served whole, corn on the cob, clam cakes, and clam chowder for only $7.95. Additional lobsters are only $4.95 if you want more, but I'm a pretty big guy and I found one to be quite filling with all the stuff you get. You might want to call for the availability of the lobster dinner, because I think they might discontinue it for the summer.
