Wow! How could I have forgotten to mention Bandung!?! This is undeniably the best indonesian restaurant I have been to in the US. Amsterdam has a few that are excellent, but Bandung is just as good. I love their homemade tempeh, and the sate is unrivalled in my opinion. Try the Empek-Empek (pronounced empay empay). It's a sweet fish cake with rice. MMMMMM!
