For data points:

1. My personal banker sees it on their internal system but insists I need a business registration to apply. Suggested I try online and see if application goes through (not sure about FYF)

2. CIBC Twitter denies any such promotion going on and kept on referring to their Aventura product

3. Walked into a downtown branch and their banker told there's no promo / refused to help me further.

Guess its a YMMV?
