Also I note the access rules do say an AA/BA flight must be operated AND marketed by either AA or BA. This would appear to mean that those flying AA/BA on an IB or AY code aren't allowed - which I don't think is intended (or is very harsh if it is).

EDIT: Found this....
Customers who can access the lounge when arriving on a same-day flight:*
First, Business Class, oneworldŽEmeraldSM and British Airways Premier customers on long-haul international flights marketed and operated by British Airways.
First and Business Class customers on long-haul international flights marketed and operated by Qantas, or marketed by British Airways and operated by Qantas, or marketed by Qantas and operated by British Airways.
First and Business Class customers on long-haul international flights marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific.
I think they got carried away with their asterisks, as otherwise by saying "Flights must be operated and marketed by American, or marketed by British Airways and operated by American" it would automatically disqualify any non-AA metal flight, which is clearly not the intention given it then talks about BA/QF/CX flights.
I'm flying back on BA into T5 in Sept, so I might try and pop over and check it out. The previous lounge was pretty dull compared to the BA T5 one - this one looks a lot better!
