When you consider having to spend NZD25 to get 0.178688 points in return the burn rate is absolutely shocking and makes people wonder why bother.
Yes I was invited to a FlyBuys market research night a few years ago - highlighted the poor value and how other schemes were superior - especially how superior other credit card programs were - it was amazing how naive the other participants were and how interested they were to see what poor value they were getting from FlyBuys - needless to say I haven't been invited back
