Took me a while to reply but thought i'd share my experience after a recent trip as promised. Wasn't offered any goodies like free drinks at check in and i think i remember getting 4 free drink vouchers last time so thats a bit of a shame.

Put in room 715 which was one of the newer deluxe rooms, it was very light, airy, modern and had a nice rainfall shower bathroom, a huge bed and a big tv. All in all very fancy and a bargain at 30k points on a busy blackpool weekend.
