I agree - Zachary's is very tasty. I'd also recommend Pauline's Pizza, on Valencia between 14th and 15th in SF.

Otherwise, I'd have to say -- in my opinion, San Francisco is the tops in many categories, by pizza is not one of them -- I really think its lousy for pizza compared to the rest of country.
