Without question, the best pizza in the Bay Area is:

They serve it by the slice usually within 15 seconds of ordering. The place (before the current remodeling) was a dive, 7 feet wide, with no chairs, a single counter to stand at and runs at a NYC pace. Very thin crust, great cheese.

It is closed for renovations and to be enlarged with the addition of (oh my!) chairs. It's supposed to reopen in February but hasn't yet.

Zacharys etc. is not bad, but this is the real thing. It's also a 5-10 minute affair to down two slices and a coke, instead of a 45-minute whole pie sit down and wait deal.

P.S. I am originally from NYC and may have eaten more Pizza than any other human alive.
