We just booked a CDG-NYC-MIA trip with air France, we booked premium economy (I think the reservation class is A) hoping to uprade to J. We're two adults traveling with a baby < 2 and chose to have her on our lap, problem is when I called FB to book the upgrade they asked 48,000 miles /leg/person, which is fine, but Even for the BABY?!! Is it normal?
She doesnt even have her own seat, why do I have to pay an extra 96,000 miles while she will be on our lap the entire flight ie in my seat for which I already paid to upgrade ?
This is pure nonsense to me

PS: hope nobody will debate on traveling with a baby in Business
