I had a 3-night stay here last month. I was coming fresh from an excellent stay at Sofitel So, so I had expected to be underwhelmed coming here, but found that I very much enjoyed it, not at all underwhelmed. By now I've stayed at all 3 Pullmans in Bangkok, and this place is simply the best.
Location is excellent, with both BTS Skytrain and MRT stops 2-3 min walk away. It is indeed steps away from Soi Cowboy, and across the street from Terminal 21 and its famously cheap food court. Suvarnabhumi airport is not too far either, some 45 min taxi ride.
Executive lounge is quite spacious and nice, although it seems understaffed. Patrons mostly pour their own wine or mix their own cocktail. Swimming pool is underwhelming, but male changing room (with jacuzzi, sauna and steamroom) is just beautiful, one of the best I've seen anywhere (much better than even So's).
