8 years later I finally had a chance to go back and taste one of the finest Italian beef sandwiches in the world at Boston-Bar-B-Q located at 2932 West Grand Ave. I also tried one at Al's #1 Italian Beef at 1079 West Taylor and yes it's just as good. So, I will recommend these 2 places, if what you're looking for is a G-R-E-A-T Italian Beef sandwich. Al's has a web site at alscatering.com, and they do ship, while Boston's(773-486-9536) does not at this moment, but I did talk to the owner, and Spiro(?) said, he's looking into shipping, and will try to get going on this in the near future. I just ordered some beef from Al's today and I can't wait for it to arrive. If you ever had one at either place you will know what I'm talking about.
