Sorry to hear about this news. Hats off to the FAs for evacuating the plane safely. I'm sure we will get more clarity on what exactly happened.

But, yes, I'm disappointed to see pax evacuating with their trolley bags. I can maybe understand taking your purse or a small bag that was with you.

I wish they made a rule somewhere that in case of such incidents, if any pax are found evacuating with their bags during an emergency, then they will not be compensated. This rule should be on the in-flight safety card and also mentioned in the safety video.
