"2-4-1s" = companion vouchers based on credit card spend - http://www.britishairways.com/en-us/...s/credit-cards

"MFU" = "miles for upgrade" i.e. using Avios for upgrades, often very good value for premium economy (WT+) to business on longhauls, also from business to first.
