I've only been to the downtown location, but if I didn't drink wine, I wouldn't think of going to this wine bar for a meal. I suppose you could do so and have some good food, but the overall concept of Bin 36 is a wine bar and wine shop that also offers good food -- which may be a different thing than a restaurant that has a good wine list. (Incidentally, many different flights of very good red wines, whites and sparkling wines/champagnes are offered.)
FWIW, the food I have had (various appetizers) at the downtown Bin 36 is good but nothing spectacular. On the other hand, a lot of "small plates" were available, which would at least give you a chance to sample various things.
