Just flew Air China from LAX-PEK-TAO and the LAX to PEK segment was in biz. The plane had 2-2-2 in J and the seats were very nice. The IFE was only OK, a few new movies in English but mostly old stuff. The food is a little below UA J class but more inclined to the Chinese passenger. Western passengers may find it a little strange. I liked the Korean Beef, very tasty.

One thing to watch out for is the immigration at PEK. If you are not a Chinese Citizen the lines can take many hours.

I also had to get my bags in PEK and resubmit to Air China then go through security again. If you have a connection in PEK leave plenty of time to make it.

I would fly Air China again, they were $2000 cheaper than UA for the same route.
