I agree, sounds a bit exaggerated to me. Don't forget, too, the increased awareness of child slavery/trafficking. In those situations, the trafficked child is severely restricted from interaction with others. Perhaps FA has a family member who was a victim. You never know.

Bottom line? It happened. Yes, it probably was a suboptimal interaction with the cabin crew. But she may have been insistent for a reason.
