Had dinner this evening at the Chop House with my boss, a lifetime Chicago resident, meat eater. Oddly he had never been there.

We ate in the (smoking zone) bar area, and the food was very good. Frankly, it was one of the better steaks I've had in Chicago in years (I visit Chicago about 8 times a year).

16oz. strip steak is an above average value at $28.95, as it includes a salad and potato. Service was also above average, but the restaurant was actually pretty empty most of the time we were there.

I'll return without hesitation.
