Summer cancellations and delays is the main reason I have not flown United or any other airlines for much of July and continuing until the middle of August.

Early in July, My family vacation flight from IAD to LHR was cancelled and cost a valuable vacation days and related expenses in cancellation in tours and hotel stay.

A few days later, an almost 4 hour delay into PEK caused ripple effects on domestic PRC travels and reshuffling of meetings for days.

No dreamcrushers or UX were involved...just the the supossed to be reliable 777.

I am sure it happens to other airlines during the peak summer travel season, so I am pointing fingers at United. Within my control, I have found video conference works wonder.
