No desire for several reasons. Many of the large tubs have a large space to get over to get into the tub. Fear of slipping. And not terribly comfortable in a tub anyway.

However, I do like the large soaking tubs one finds in Chinese and Japanese public bathhouses. Many of them you can step down into and either sit on the top step half immersed or sit down fully immersed.

I did stay in Home Hotel in Taipei that had a bath I WOULD use. Tha bathroom was on the outside wall with floor to ceiling window looking out to the alley. The "bathtub" was actually a clever combo tub/shower. It was sunk into the tiled floor. You stepped three steps down to the the bottom where you could either sit and bathe or stand and shower. And you could watch people on the street below as you cleaned yourself. Quite interesting and an efficient use of space.
