I travel frequently with Delta and as with business travels, I occasionally need to cancel my flight. I cancelled flight 3 times this year, all within 24 hours of booking. The cancellation screen indicate it's cancelled and that I will receive the cancellation confirmation email, and it listed my email from my Skymile profile, but the cancellation email never arrived.
I did the usual check including checking the spam filter, nada. Because of my frequent business with Delta, I get a lot of emails from Delta, and all of the Delta email domains are whitelisted as extra cautionary step. I am 99.99% certain the email was not sent. I call in but agent said they can't send cancellation email but noted the cancellation number is the ticket number!!!
I reported this issue several times but it's still happening over a period of many months.
Has anyone here actually gotten a cancellation confirmation email?
Over the last month I had to book and cancel 3 tickets within 24 hours because of uncertain schedule on the other end. Never got a cancel email, but did see the cancellation confirmation note at the end of the process. Credit card was refunded promptly. I remember getting them even as late as in April because I usually save them.
