A group of us "thirty somethings" went to Nine last year. While it is hip and trendy, the food was quite good and the waitstaff was amazingly pleasant and not snooty at all like I expected. She even gave us free passes to the Ghost Bar upstairs. We were too tired to use it that night (I am getting old... ) and I still have my pass. If you are interested I'd be happy to send it to you.
