We stay there a few times a year, and were at the Hilton earlier this year. Golds and Diamonds should get the complimentary breakfast buffet, either in the main floor buffet room or up at the Watermark on the 33rd floor of the South Tower, and two bottles of water per day in the room. Be aware that the breakfast buffet's lineups to be seated can be very, very long, so try to get there early or be prepared for lengthy waits in the lineup. Good choices for breakfast in either buffet, with the all usual hot dishes, meats, potatoes, waffles, breads and muffins, etc. Try the apple cinnamon muffins for dessert. Chef there will make hot eggs dishes including omelettes if you want. Cost if not a HHonors Gold or Diamond was $19.99 pp (downstairs) or $24.99 pp (Watermark) if paying, not including taxes and fees.

Noted that rates for the next month or two have really jumped, and an email to the FD manager told us that they're swamped with conventions, meetings and bus tours, all filling the hotel's 1,000 rooms, so finding good rates or the usual HHonors points for daily rates are difficult.

Still a good idea to park at the casino's parking lot which will have daily parking rates lower then the Hilton's. Use the casino's parking entrance just PAST the main entrance to the casino on Fallsview Ave., the gates open on entering and go up to some of the higher floors for a parking spot. Elevator down to the 5th level, walk across that parking level to the far end, then use the walkway over Fallsview Ave. to reach the mezzanine level of the Hilton and take that elevator down to the main floor level for checkin. If you have time to get to the casino, get their free players club card to have free parking at the casino garage if you play a bit in the casino. Usual rates at the casino garage vary from $5 to $15 per day, but could be higher on busy weekends or holidays.

We usually stay in the South Tower as we're smokers and there's still a few smoking rooms available there, but they're becoming less and less. Earlier stays in the newer North Tower before it went all Non-smoking were fine, but now our stays in the South Tower are just as nice since it was totally renovated in 2014. If you want any views at all of the Falls, avoid the lower building which is the Middle Tower, and if in either the North or South Tower, the better views of the Falls are from at least the 15th floor or higher, since anything lower will get a view of the casino's garage or the casino hotel directly across the street from the Hilton. Excellent views on a clear, sunny day, IMO, are from the Watermark Restaurant on the South Tower's 33rd floor, but the best views will be from the highest floors of N\S Towers. Rooms with a jacuzzi, if available, are worth the extra cost, IMO.

Use the regular Hilton website to book, as the rates there, if available, seem to usually be a few bucks lower then the hotel's own website.
