yes, Como Inn is closed,
BUT....
Months after the legendary Como Inn closed its doors, the grandsons of the Como Inn's founder, Giuseppe Marchetti, have opened Como, a modern take on the Como Inn's old-world charm. Several recipes have been carried over to the new location, including chicken vesuvio, rigatoni with bolognese sauce and Nona Marchetti's recipe for roast chicken. Owner Gino Marchetti is quick to point out, however, that Como will use only fresh ingredients, where as the Como Inn would occasionally use canned vegetables to assist with the large volume of cooking. The high ceilings give the two rooms an open feel, while several booths, topped with canopies, recreate the intimate feel popular with former Como Inn regulars.
