Just a minor correction,since broadwayboy did not mention the actual F side access in his question. So your advice is absolutely valid for CX First Class lounge access. That said a standalone MH J class ticket is sufficient to gain entry to any of CX Business Class lounges,regardless of the connection,so no need to go to Plaza Premium.
