Any more recent stays at the Hilton Fallsview? Stayed at the ES previously, parked at the casino, last in 2014 and it does have a great view but thinking about trying the Hilton now that I'm a Diamond member and like the access to the casino and better restaurants.
What's the best room type to book planning for an upgrade? Any new renovations at the hotel or is North tower still ideal on the upper floors?
I was there last month for a point stay. I asked for an upgrade and got upgraded to falls view room about mid way in the building in the south tower. The view is still really good except ES is right in the middle of the 2 falls. We got a 2 queen beds room and the 2 beds are actually in 2 rooms with the bathroom in the middle. The layout of the room is really good. We can see the fireworks clearly at night. I think if you could get North tower high floor you will get really good view. I was up on Watermark restaurant (at north tower) for breakfast and the view to the falls was amazing.
The buffet, both downstairs and at the Watermark is really good. I think it is worth the $5 upgrade charge for Watermark just for the view.
