Another vote for Rosebud's for Italian.. and I also prefer the one on Taylor!
For steak.. Gibson's and Smith and Wollensky's are both fantastic. If you have good weather (not to hot) - opt for outside dining at S&W... river is right there.
I am also partial to Maggianno's - LOVE the Angel hair Pomodoro! .. and the chicken marsala.. and the veal vesuvio..
